Kelsey grew up in Wyoming, Ohio and has always had a love for movement. During elementary and middle school, dance was her extracurricular. After a few years of horseback riding she joined the Ohio State’s ballroom dance team, taking various dance classes on the side. Upon graduating in 2011 her love for the outdoors led her to Colorado where rock climbing quickly took the place of dance. The Ascendance Project immediately intrigued her as it combined her persistent interest in dance and new obsession with climbing. In addition to dancing with the Ascendance Project, Kelsey also practices and performs acrobatics with Fractal Tribe. Kelsey spends her days teaching as an interventionist in a middle school and in her free time enjoys spending time with her critters (a horse, four chickens, and two cats) and adventuring in the great outdoors.
